An 'exclusive' swingers club opens at plush country house - and these are the rules - Devon Live
Describing itself as the hottest and newest lifestyle venue, Exclusively Silks have turned secluded period house Croydon Hall in Rodhuish, Somerset, into a location for an evening of 'discreet, luxurious indulgence. But after Anyone hoping for a cheeky snap or two will be disappointed as no photos are allowed inside the club. Presumably there is also an additional fee for accommodation.
It's a beautiful corner of England known for clotted cream, thatched cottages, scrumpy and coach parties of pensioners on day trips. But now a sleepy Devon backwater has been placed firmly on the X-rated tourist map thanks to the launch of a swingers' night in a converted barn in the tiny hamlet of Horswell. Enterprising farmer Roger Stanbury set up Club Vanilla in his barn near Bishops Tawton - usually reserved for weddings and birthday parties - claiming that he was only following government advice to "diversify". So how did the first night go?
